Blackboard

Blackboard is Learning Management System (LMS) hosted by Syracuse University and available to SUNY ESF faculty.  In October 2021, Anthology and Blackboard Inc. combined in a corporate merger.  This merger was designed to enhance Blackboard which remains a central focus of the company but resulted in some changes to the platform.

In order to access Blackboard, you need to login using your SU NETID.

You can manage your SU NetID at the site: https://netid.syr.edu/selfserv/

Getting started: Anthology has a YouTube channel featuring short instructional videos on topics including course design, communication, and assessment.  Also, within the Syracuse University Blackboard interface, you will find numerous tools to assist in answering your questions.

Questions on Blackboard and online learning can be directed to SUNY ESF Open Academy: email openacademy@esf.edu or call 315-470-6817.
