Public Speaking Lab

The Public Speaking Lab (PSL)

Services

ESF's Public Speaking Lab (PSL) is a free service that supports the development of undergraduate students' public, academic, and professional speaking skills. PSL consultants work with students, both in-person and online, to provide formative feedback on presentations and presentation materials (from outlines to presentation slides). The lab also functions as a rehearsal space and team room where groups of students can meet to plan, practice, film, and review presentations.

Location

The PSL is located in 13-B Moon Library (in the back of the Writing Resource Center).

Spring 2014 Consulting Hours

Students are welcome to use the PSL at any point during the library's regular hours of operation, and face-to-face consulting is available at the following times:

Mondays, 2:00pm-5:00pm
Tuesdays, 12:30pm-6:30pm
Wednesdays, 10:00am-1:00pm and 2:30pm-5:30
Thursdays, 2:00pm-5:00pm

Please note that preference is always given to students who have reserved the room in advance through the PSL's online scheduling system. See below for instructions on how to reserve the lab and/or make an appointment with a consultant.
