The Scholarly Communications Group at F. Franklin Moon Library can help you plan for data management and will assist with the storage of some research datasets. Please contact us at: digitalcommons@esf.edu
Additionally, you may choose to contact your liaison librarian for research help.
A data management plan (DMP) is a document that describes how data will be collected, described, documented, shared, and preserved as part of a project. DMPs may be created for personal use, as part of laboratory groups with multiple users, or federally mandated and required for funding agencies to distribute awards. This guide is intended to serve the research community at SUNY ESF as a resource to learn basic data management practices, learn about new tools to help with the creation of DMPs, and also to connect researchers with librarians who can help with planning and managing data. If you have any resources of suggestions that you would like to see on this guide, please feel free to contact us at: digitalcommons@esf.edu
