Off-Campus Access to Resources

To access subscription library resources from off campus:

Always go through links found on Moon Library's website: http://www.esf.edu/moonlib/
Navigate to and select the resource you are looking for (JSTOR, Academic Search Complete, etc.)
You will need to login with your ESFiD: username@esf.edu and the password you created with Computing and Network Services. You will then be prompted verify authentication with the DUO mobile security app.

Search Primo
This link gives you tips on using and logging into Primo which is Moon Library's discovery search (the main search box on our website: www.esf.edu/moonlib) in which you will find articles, ebooks, and other materials available through the library. Contact a librarian for in depth assistance with searching.
Databases
See this list for all databases and resources subscribed to by Moon Library. There are also links to Open Access resources. Searching a more specialized database can help narrow down useful resources on your topic.
Interlibrary Loan
Use interlibrary loan to request books and articles not owned by ESF. If you can't access an article through Primo or other means, please submit a request and a link to a pdf will be sent to your email. As of now, books will still need to be picked up in Moon Library.
Course Reserves
Here is information about reserve books available in the library. Stay tuned for more information about access to these virtually.
Citation Managers
Use a citation manager to help you store, organize, and cite your work. This guide will introduce you to Zotero and Mendeley. There are also videos to help you set up a citation manager.
Subject Guides
Here you will find guides with specific resources for programs of study in each academic department. Just click on Subject Guide. Here you can also browse other guides on many topics and courses.
Accessing eBooks
This guide will describe how to find, view, and download ebooks from our ebook database.
